RS GRAVEL
RS DEVELOPMENT.
Unveiled at Eurobike 2025, the latest creation from RS-Development is more than just another gravel bike. It’s a statement of what’s possible when cutting-edge engineering meets visionary design.
Led by Rolf Singenberger, the team presents a groundbreaking concept: a carbon gravel fork with an integrated Tuned Mass Damper (TMD) system — paired with a fully customizable carbon-titanium frame crafted to meet the highest standards of integration, performance, and individuality.
LESS VIBRATION, MORE RIDE.
what if we could neutralize it – before it reaches the rider ?
Every gravel rider feels it: constant front-end chatter on rough terrain kills control, focus, and flow. Micro-impacts through the fork cause fatigue, reduced traction, and loss of precision—especially at speed. In races and long rides, this vibration not only slows you but wears you out.
ONE SOLUTION.
TUNED MASS DAMPING (TMD)
-
A precision-guided counterweight inside the fork reacts to vibrations from the trail, cancelling them out mechanically and instantly — without electronics, batteries, or lag.
-
More control – better front tracking over loose or rocky sections
Less fatigue – micro-impacts absorbed before reaching your hands
Improved traction – tire stays planted when it counts
No compromise – zero maintenance, no added complexity
-
The TMD is tuneable – you can adjust both mass and spring stiffness based on your weight, riding style, and terrain.
Zero maintenance: Pure mechanical system — no electronics, no servicing required

TMD stands for Tuned Mass Damper — a concept borrowed from aerospace, motorsport, and high-rise architecture. It consists of a mass, a spring system, and a damping element. By being tuned to specific vibration frequencies, the TMD absorbs and neutralizes unwanted resonance.
In the RS fork, this compact system adds just 200–250g depending on tuning but offers exceptional ride smoothness without affecting geometry or requiring any structural changes. And when not needed (say, on pure tarmac), the entire module can be removed — keeping the frame geometry untouched.
Alongside the fork, RS-Development also unveiled a prototype gravel frame that pushes boundaries. Created in partnership with German carbon specialist MEBCarbon, the frame combines 3D-printed aluminum or titanium lugs with custom-wrapped carbon tubing — all engineered and assembled in Germany.
Integrated front and rear lighting (powered by a hub dynamo with self-contacting system)
Integrated USB power for bike computers and smartphones
Optional titanium lugs for bespoke elegance
Parametric geometry and design adaptation — the frame can be tailored in size, angle, and finish
Compatible with tires up to 55mm wide
INTEGRATED FRONT AND REAR LIGHTING
The RS Gravel features fully integrated front and rear lights, powered by a high-efficiency dynamo hub.
This self-sustaining system requires no batteries, no charging, and no external connectors.
All wiring is hidden within the frame and fork, preserving the bike’s clean aesthetics and improving durability in all weather conditions.
« Most people only notice vibration when it’s gone. That’s exactly the point. »

Swiss-designed,
German-made
Precision meets reliability. Developed in Switzerland and manufactured in Germany, the RS Gravel reflects the best of both worlds: cutting-edge design and uncompromising build quality.
Custom geometry tailored to
the rider
Every RS Gravel is unique. We tailor the frame geometry to match your body, riding style, and performance goals — ensuring optimal handling, comfort, and efficiency on any terrain.
3D-printed titanium lugs
+ carbon tubes
Advanced materials, perfectly integrated. 3D-printed titanium lugs combine with high-modulus carbon tubing to create a frame that’s both incredibly strong and remarkably light.
Seamless integration of components, cables, and lighting
All cables, lights, and systems are fully hidden inside the frame and cockpit — delivering a sleek, aerodynamic silhouette and a riding experience free from distractions.
Built-in dynamo-powered lighting and electronics-free interface
Front and rear lights are powered by a dynamo hub with no external wires or batteries. Ride day or night with full autonomy — no charging required.
Ready for pilot production and OEM partnerships
From prototype to production — we’re ready. Our supply chain is in place, and we welcome collaboration with OEMs and partners who share our vision for performance innovation.
Available for Collaboration
RS-Development sees this as more than a showpiece. Both the fork and the frame are available as standalone concepts or as a complete package — ideal for OEM clients, boutique frame builders, or brand collaborations. Whether you’re looking to elevate your next model or develop a bespoke flagship,
RS-Development is ready to co-engineer your future ride.
“When your bike stops fighting you, you start going further.”
